GoalscorersSmith, Limb (3, 1 pen)
This game was all over as a contest after just 17 minutes. Billy Smith put Wisbech ahead with an expertly taken free kick after six minutes. After 15 minutes a terrible clearance from Kirby goalkeeper James Flinders went straight to Harry Limb who calmly advanced into the penalty area and rounded Flinders before scoring. Within two minutes Kirby overplayed at the back, conceded possession and saw Edgaras Buzas produce a cross for Limb to tuck away his second. Wisbech dominated the remiander of the first half without being able to add to their score.
The second half was a more even affair. Both teams created chances only to be met by fine goalkeeping at both ends. After 71 minutes Dan Sheahan brought down the ever dangerous Limb to cencede a penalty but Flinders was equal to Adam Millson's spot kick. Seven minutes later it was the turn of Wisbech keeper Sam Vince to save a penalty, this one taken by Carl Benson. As the game went into stoppage time Wisbech were awarded another penalty, this time for a foul on Harry Vince. They changed their penalty taker and, despite efforts by goalkeeper Vince to persuade his manager to let him take it, Harry Limb stepped forward and the youngster nervelessly completed his second hat trick of the season.
