Harborough Town, winners of UCL Premier Division South, became the first ever winners of the UCL Premier Division Champions Cup, by beating Long Eaton United, the winners of Premier Division North, 4-0 at the Harborough Town FC Community Ground.
Long Eaton started the game brightly but a goal from Nat Ansu after 37 minutes gave Harborough a 1-0 lead at the break. Goals early in the second half from Dodzi Agbenu and Rhys Kelly secured the win before a late effort from Joel Carter completed the scoring.
Both teams had already secured promotion to Step Four for next season with the clubs provisionally due to renew acquaintances with each other in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division.
