The Football Association have today dismissed the appeal by Saffron Dynamo FC against the decision of the United Counties League to remove them from this Season’s Sports Ground Development League Cup for fielding an ineligible player in their Quarter Final match against Wellingborough Town FC and their Semi Final match against Ashby Ivanhoe FC.
As a result of this decision, Wellingborough Town FC and Ashby Ivanhoe FC are reinstated to the Competition, and will now play a semi-final tie tomorrow, Saturday 27 April 2024, with a kick off time of 3.00 pm. This fixture will be played at Kirby Muxloe FC.
The winners of that match will play Skegness Town FC on Monday 6 May 2024 at Harrowby United FC, with a kick off time of 3.00 pm.
Advanced tickets for the Final will be available from Monday 29 April 2024, details of which will be advertised on social media. It will also be possible to pay for entry to the Final on the day of the game by either cash or card.
