Belper United gained promotion to Step Five after a 1-0 victory away to Hinckley AFC in the inaugural Division One Play Off Final in from of a bumper crowd of 811 at the Kirkby Road Sports Ground. Hinckley and Belper, who finished second and third respectively in the regular season, had qualified for the final by beating Hucknall Town and Radford.
The only goal of the game was scored by Richard Hanslow shortly after half time.
